We will donate boxes to as many hospitals as we can that will be customized for Intended Parents and gestational carriers/surrogates, who experience infant loss. Coming from the two founders of this organization that faced this challenge, leaving the hospital empty handed with no guidance for 3rd party reproduction, we don’t want anyone to go through this already traumatic experience, not knowing where to turn. Gathering special items, books, and resources that can help get everyone through the hard weeks ahead. 

Each box will be unique for IP’s and the GC/Surrogate families. One thing that the founders experienced was being treated as though this was a naturally conceived journey that ended in child loss. Although the loss of a child is a loss that no one should ever experience, we both felt as though our journey wasn’t the same as someone that naturally conceived or that didn’t have a 3rd party experience. Throughout the IP’s journey they never experienced hormones, body changes, kicks in the ribs, or feeling the babies hiccups for the first time. Other than ultrasound photos and hearing that adorable heartbeat, IP’s grieve in a much different manner. The IP imagines raising this baby in their mind and in their lives, preparing the house, buying clothes you know they will love, and being showered with gifts. The GC/Surrogate faces an extremely different experience with everything a naturally conceived mother would deal with but with the added guilt, blame, and feeling the emotions of the death of a child.
